Having taught at the graduate level for over 10 years, Dr. Kate Balestrieri, is available for various forms of professional consulting. She provides clinical supervision for clinicians training as Sex Addiction Therapists, medical professionals, attorneys, and other industry professionals looking to deepen their insight on mental health services or topics, or a specific case.
She also works with companies who can benefit from consultations around certain industry-specific issues. What clinical supervision and professional consultation services does your practice offer?
At Modern Intimacy, we offer clinical supervision and professional development for Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, Associate Clinical Social Workers, and Registered Psychologists seeking licensure in California, Florida, and Illinois.
Dr. Kate Balestrieri also offers professional consultation services for aspiring Sex Addiction Therapists who need to fulfill the 30-hour supervision requirement. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Supervisor (CSAT-S), she is authorized to provide the required clinical supervision hours.
A member of the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), Dr. Balestrieri often provides training and consultation to clinical staff and professionals on how to recognize and treat sexual dysfunctions, prepare for sexual activity, address sexual problems, and feel comfortable working with sexual issues ethically and effectively in the therapy session.
Dr. Kate Balestrieri is also available for consultation with other therapists, physicians, and other medical and mental health professionals to discuss and collaborate and provide insight on diagnosis and treatment considerations. With explicit written consent, Dr. Balestrieri can consult with other practitioners about a mutual patient to ensure effective continuity of care.
