What is Samantha's Approach?

Samantha’s approach is rooted in compassion and she combines depth psychology, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed principles in order to help her clients achieve their goals and get to the core of their issue in a way that feels safe and protected. Samantha is passionate about joining her clients in their journey and shows up fully with warmth, curiosity, and a calm presence.

Samantha utilizes a depth-psychology approach, particularly psychodynamic and attachment-based. Samantha believes that often the blocks we experience in our day-to-day lives and relationships are patterns, which may stem from childhood or traumatic events. She has found that without addressing a pattern, symptoms tend to reappear later or change form. Samantha seeks to support her clients in finding root-cause healing in order to achieve lasting wellness.

When working with couples of two or more, Samantha uses a systemic approach in order to support the couple as a whole. Samantha aims to help couples achieve greater intimacy through authentic, assertive communication and secure functioning.

She is excited about contributing to a societal shift around sex and mental health and loves supporting clients in recovering from sexual shame and the impact that oppression can have on authentic expression.
